Acceptance of Booking

Once we receive and accept your booking request, we will issue a Booking Confirmation Invoice to your designated contact person. From this moment, a binding contract will exist between you and Expeditions Wild Jungle Limited. This contract includes details on:

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining 50% to be paid upon arrival, before the safari begins.
  • Accepted payment methods, including our USD bank account, which will be clearly outlined on the invoice.

🚫 Important: Payments must be made directly to our company accounts. We do not accept payments to individual names or personal accounts.

Failure to pay the balance on arrival (unless otherwise agreed) will result in cancellation of the booking, and applicable cancellation fees will apply.

Note: The contract becomes effective upon your confirmation and remains valid from the start of your safari (including the designated pick-up location) to the final drop-off point as stated in your itinerary.

Your Details

To confirm travel arrangements, all travellers must provide the following at the time of booking along with the 50% deposit:

  • Full name (as per passport)
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • Passport number
  • Passport issue and expiry date
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect participation in the safari

Our Safaris

Expeditions Wild Jungle exclusively offers private safaris for families, couples, or groups traveling together.

We do not offer shared safaris with other travellers. Your quotation is only for the individuals booked under your group.

Prices and Surcharges

Our safari prices are subject to seasonal and market variations. Prices may fluctuate based on:

  • High/low travel seasons
  • Currency exchange rates
  • Park fee adjustments
  • Transport costs
  • Local taxes or government regulations

We reserve the right to impose surcharges up to 60 days before departure. Once you’ve paid your deposit, discounts introduced later will not apply retroactively.

Cancellations by You

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to your assigned sales representative. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • 60+ days before departure: 100% refund or full credit
  • 31–55 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee
  • 15–30 days before departure: 70% cancellation fee
  • 14 days or less: 100% cancellation fee

Cancellations by Us

We guarantee departures once a trip has at least one fully paid traveller unless otherwise stated. If we cancel your safari (except due to force majeure), you may:

  • Transfer the payment to another date, or
  • Receive a full refund
  • In cases of Force Majeure (e.g., war, riots, pandemics, natural disasters, government orders), we may offer:
  • 100% credit for future use, or
  • A partial refund minus non-recoverable costs

We are not liable for costs incurred outside the safari booking (e.g., flights, visas, travel insurance, vaccinations).

Travel Insurance

We include AMREF Flying Doctors Evacuation Cover for emergency air evacuation (not medical coverage).

We strongly recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Personal accidents & death
  • Trip cancellation or curtailment
  • Lost luggage and personal items
  • Medical expenses and evacuation

Change of Itinerary

Due to the nature of safari travel, flexibility is required. The itinerary is a general guide and may be modified due to:

  • Weather
  • Wildlife movement
  • Park rules
  • Vehicle conditions
  • Other unforeseen events

Before departure: We will inform you of major changes (those affecting 1+ full day of the trip). You may accept, switch to an alternative safari, or request a refund for the land portion only.

After departure: You are responsible for any additional costs arising from changes due to emergencies or unavoidable circumstances.

Accommodation

Expeditions Wild Jungle does not own or manage lodges/camps directly.

We select accommodations based on strong reviews on platforms like Google, TripAdvisor, and Booking.com. While we inspect many of these, we rely on client feedback to maintain quality.

🚨 If we receive three or more complaints about a particular lodge, we reserve the right to reassess that partnership.

We are not liable for any issues that arise at these lodges, and refunds will only be processed as per our cancellation policy.
