Route
Itinerary
Depart from the departure zone in Nairobi after breakfast and head to the Mara. Have the first stopover at the viewpoint for the view of the magnificent escarpments of the Great Rift Valley. The second stop will be at Narok town where you will have lunch and then proceed to the camp or the park to have the evening game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Have an early breakfast and proceed on the game drive in the park which is a landscape of savannah grassland on rolling hills. It is famously known for its range of wildlife and the good network that allows for better game viewing and beautiful photo opportunities. Take selfies with the man-eaters and enjoy the beautiful view of all the wildlife in the park and the variety of bird species for bird lovers. Have your picnic lunch at the hippo pool and enjoy the epic experience of dining with hippos and crocs. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Have a visit to the Maasai village, then depart to Nakuru with an en-route lunch. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes that keep on changing with the view of Mount Longonot and Lake Nakuru. You will have an optional activity of boat riding on Lake Naivasha (at an extra cost). Upon arrival, you will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Have a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which is famously known for its flamingoes. It is also a rhino sanctuary for both the endangered black rhino and the white rhino. Enjoy the splendid sight of the water animals like buffaloes, crocodiles and hippos and how they live together. You will view this from the viewpoint of the Baboon Cliff and also interact with the baboons. Have a picnic lunch and then travel to Naivasha later in the day. Have dinner and spend the night in Naivasha.
Have your breakfast then head to Hell's Gate National Park to get started with the fun activities of walking and climbing through the gorges. During the nature walks, you'll appreciate what gifts nature has to offer. You can then do bike riding which is an optional fun activity. Enjoy the vegetation around the park. Later, have lunch and depart for Amboseli via Nairobi's busy Nairobi/Mombasa highway to arrive at Amboseli in time for dinner and overnight.
Have breakfast then set out for the game drive in the second-best park in Kenya. Enjoy the beautiful wildlife that is viewed in close proximity. Meet the really large elephants of Amboseli and hear the roars of Amboseli. The view gets even better when you see the largest snow-capped mountain in Africa - Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch. There is an optional activity of visiting the villages (at an extra cost). Return for dinner and overnight at the camp.
Have a pre-breakfast, then set out for an early morning game drive. The park is swampy and a perfect habitat for various herbivores. Watch for hippos, large elephants and calves, and other wildlife wallowing in the muddy waters. Return and have a full breakfast at the camp. Check out of the camp and drive to the Namanga Border, where we will transfer you to your Arusha hotel via our private means. Our representative in Tanzania will come to the hotel, to give you a briefing of your Tanzania safari.
Have breakfast at the hotel then meet our driver for a transfer to the office from where we will leave for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at the park by 10:00 am. Proceed for a game drive with picnic lunches in search of the wildlife and flamingos that inhabit this national park. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and the flocks of flamingos. Later in the evening, leave Lake Manyara and drive to Panorama Safari Camp where dinner will be served followed by overnight.
Breakfast will be served before you check out for the Serengeti area. After a 4-hour drive, arrive at the main gate for registration and an afternoon game drive. You will have a game drive of at least 6 hours before proceeding to Seronera Camp in Central Serengeti where dinner and overnight will be served. Serengeti is really wide and we chose to stay here so that we can access the area with the largest animal concentrations during the game drive.
Have an early breakfast at the camp then leave for a full-day game viewing with a picnic lunch. Track the wildebeest migration and the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino). You may take a game drive to the crocodile-infested Grumeti River to see the crocodiles and the hippopotamus. Have a picnic lunch at the picnic site and continue with the game drive until 5:00 pm. Drive to the camp with an en-route game drive for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast at the camp, leave with picnic lunches for a game drive of at least 6-hours within Serengeti National Park. You will track wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, lion, black rhino, cheetah, leopard, hyena, bushbuck, lesser kudu, wild dog, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, black-backed jackal, mongoose, olive baboon, and vervet monkey among other animals. You will be lucky to spot some of them! By noon, leave the park with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge at an extra cost of $50 per person. Arrive at the conservancy area in the evening where you will have dinner and overnight at the camp.
Have breakfast at the lodge, then leave for a game drive within the Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend for a game drive. You will see lion, African elephant, black rhino, blue wildebeest, leopard, cheetah, hyena, wild dog, Grant’s gazelle, zebra, African buffalo and hippopotamus at the crater rim. Have a picnic lunch at the crater rim then ascend to the main gate. Exit the crater after 6 hours and drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast at the camp, leave for a game drive along the Tarangire River that cuts Tarangire National Park into two and supplies enough water to the animals that inhabit the park. See a large number of elephants as they come to the river to drink. Have a picnic lunch at the picnic site inside the park then continue with the game drive until late afternoon. Leave the park and drive to Arusha town where you will be dropped off at Tulia hotel.
After breakfast, you will check out and our driver will pick you up to transfer you back to Nairobi. On arrival to Nairobi, you will meet our staff, share your experience and be dropped at your Nairobi hotel or airport to catch a flight back home or to another destination.
